Art Santa Fe's gala preview, held at El Museo de
Cultural, Thursday, July 12, provided an elegant champagne
reception and an opportunity for a first look at
outstanding contemporary art from around the world. “Vernissage” is a French term originally used to refer to openings of
exhibitions during the Renaissance, when artists were often still
applying varnish to their paintings at the very last minute.
